Ohio governor, GOP leaders stage union law meeting
Wed Aug 17, 2011
Why would semi-anonymous commenters on a forum want to silence opposing viewpoints and engage in sweeping stereotypical hate speech against those who don't think like they do? Oh yeah, they're Newsvine liberals!
Portman keeps Senate seat in Ohio in GOP hands
Tue Nov 2, 2010
Voinovich was by most accounts pretty much a RINO, so this feels a bit more like a net gain for the right.
Obama Draws Crowd of 35,000 in Boehner's Back Yard
Mon Oct 18, 2010
No, sorry. Wishful thinking. Nearly 3/4 of residents in the 8th haven't even heard of his opponent, Coussoule. And in my district which seems to always go blue, Stivers is leading Kilroy by about 10 points. I can see November from my house!

Grand Canyon to change 'unfair' permit system
Sun Nov 22, 2009
There should be a cap on the number of international permits issued. There is absolutely no reason that those of us in the US who pay taxes to staff, preserve, and protect our national parks should get bumped. That's completely ludicrous. Mr.
Women face tough choices on abortion coverage
Thu Nov 12, 2009
...unless you happen to be a woman, or a black person charged with a crime, or... or... an unborn baby.
Obama says it's now Senate's turn on health care
Sun Nov 8, 2009
It'll take years to see the full scope of the damage they're about to do. I'm not sure why there's this insane need to pass health care reform without first even understanding what is "good" health care reform. There is a difference.
